Casa Batlló at a glance

Casa Batlló stands at Passeig de Gràcia 43 in the Eixample district of Barcelona. Antoni Gaudí remodelled an existing apartment building here between 1904 and 1906 for the textile entrepreneur Josep Batlló i Casanovas. The house is privately run and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage group "Works of Antoni Gaudí", which has 7 components in total. Casa Batlló was added to it in 2005.

The nearest metro station is Passeig de Gràcia, where lines L2, L3 and L4 meet. Day tickets come in four variants: Blue €35, Silver €40, Gold €45 and Platinum €55 in 2026. The roof, the media and some rooms depend on the variant. A General Visit is advertised from €29, and prices depend on availability and on how far ahead you book. Evening visits start from €25.

This guide covers the tickets, the evening programme, tours, the rooms, the facade and roof, the history, the hours and the way there. It also compares the house with the Casa Milà, walks along the Passeig de Gràcia and lists other Gaudí buildings, things to do nearby and places to stay.
