Casa Batlló or Casa Milà in short
Casa Batlló is at Passeig de Gràcia 43. Casa Milà, also called La Pedrera, is at number 92 of the same street. Both are Gaudí houses, and each has its own entry ticket. One ticket does not cover the other.
The best choice depends on what you want to see. Casa Batlló was a remodel of an existing house for the Batlló family, and the visit centres on the noble floor, the blue light well and, with some tickets, the roof. Casa Milà was commissioned by Rosario Segimon and Pere Milà, started in 1906 and completed in 1912, and the visit includes the courtyards, an apartment, the attic and the roof. For a deeper look at the first house, start with Casa Batlló tickets, and for the second see the page on Casa Milà tickets.

How to choose
Answer one question at a time instead of looking for one winner.
You want the roof
At Casa Milà the roof, with its chimneys, ventilation towers and stair structures, is in the Essential ticket. At Casa Batlló you need Silver or higher, or the early visit. The roof of Casa Batlló has four chimney groups and a tiled ridge. See the photos on the facade and roof page.
You want original living rooms
Casa Batlló lets you see the noble floor and, with Gold or Platinum, the private rooms of the Batlló family. Casa Milà includes an apartment. Read what each room is on the page about Casa Batlló inside.
You travel with children
The age limits differ. Casa Batlló is free from 0 to 12 with an adult, Casa Milà from 0 to 11. Teenagers pay less at Batlló: €6 off from 13 to 17, against €14.50 at Milà from 12 to 17.
You want an evening
The formats are not the same. Batlló offers a night visit and concerts, and Milà offers a guided night session with roof video mapping. A roof concert from Batlló does not carry over to Milà.
You are on a budget
The entry prices start at the same €29, but what you get for it differs. Do not rank them by the entry price alone. Compare what is included, such as the roof.
Opening times of Casa Milà
From 6 March to 1 November 2026 Casa Milà is open daily from 09:00 to 20:30, with night sessions from 20:40 to 22:20. From 2 November 2026 to 25 February 2027 it opens from 09:00 to 18:30, with night sessions from 19:00 to 23:00. It is closed on 25 December 2026 and from 11 to 17 January 2027. Casa Batlló is open daily from 08:30 to 22:30, see the page on Casa Batlló opening hours.
Seeing both is realistic over two days or a long day with a break. They are on the same street, so the second visit needs no transfer. The wider Gaudí picture is on Gaudí in Barcelona, and the street itself is described in the guide to the Passeig de Gràcia.
