Getting to Casa Batlló at a glance
The easiest way to reach the house is the metro. Passeig de Gràcia is an interchange of lines L2, L3 and L4. The house itself names L3 and L4 in its short list, but L2 stops at the same station, so any of the three works. Several city bus lines also stop close by.
From the airport you can take the Aerobús, the L9 Sud metro with a change, or a train. Book your time slot first, because you cannot enter before the booked time, and you have a 15-minute window after it. See Casa Batlló tickets for the options. The house is open daily, with a last entry at 21:30, which is covered on the opening hours page.

Practical tips for arrival
Small things that save time at the door.
Access
The house states wheelchair access to all areas and priority use of the lifts. That does not promise a step-free route from every metro platform, so check your station exit.
Luggage and strollers
There are no lockers, so leave bags at your accommodation if you can. The tour route cannot be done with a stroller, but a place to leave it is available. Private photos without a tripod are allowed.
Pickpockets and safety
On the metro and in crowds, keep bags closed and in sight and carry valuables in inner pockets. Do not leave luggage unattended. The emergency number is 112.
Staying near the house
If you visit in the evening, a hotel nearby saves a late journey. See where to stay near Casa Batlló, and things to do nearby for the area.
