Gaudí buildings at a glance

Barcelona has more Gaudí than most visitors have time for. Casa Batlló and Casa Milà face each other along the Passeig de Gràcia. Casa Vicens, Palau Güell, Bellesguard and the crypt at Colònia Güell are spread across other parts of the city and its surroundings. Each one is a separate visit with its own ticket, its own hours and its own closing days.

Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, Casa Vicens, Palau Güell and the crypt of Colònia Güell belong to the UNESCO group "Works of Antoni Gaudí", which has 7 components in total. Bellesguard is not part of that group, but you can still visit it. 2026 is the Gaudí year, the 100th anniversary of his death on 10 June 2026. If you want to see several in one day, a guided route is easier than planning it yourself: see our Gaudí tour of Barcelona guide.

For most visitors with two or three days in the city: do Casa Batlló and Casa Milà on the Passeig de Gràcia, then add Casa Vicens or Palau Güell for a different side of Gaudí. Bellesguard and Colònia Güell suit a second visit or a Gaudí-focused trip.

Palau Güell

Palau Güell stands at Nou de la Rambla 3–5, outside the Eixample. The regular ticket costs €15 and the reduced ticket €12 (for example for visitors over 65). The "Mini" ticket costs €5 for students and for ages 13 to 18, and children up to and including 12 enter free. People with a disability enter free. The house closes on Mondays that are not public holidays, on 1 and 6 January, in the fourth week of January and on 25 and 26 December. There are free days, such as the first Sunday of each month, 23 April, 11 September and 24 September, but the booking procedure for free entry is separate, so read it before you plan around it.

Bellesguard

The guided visit costs €20 and the audio visit €12. Under 18s and retired visitors pay €15 or €9, and children under 8 enter free. It opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00, with last entry at 14:00. It is closed on Mondays (except holidays), on 1 and 6 January and on 25 and 26 December. You reach it by FGC line L7 to Av. It opens Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 15:00. Take FGC trains S3, S4, S8 or S9 from Plaça Espanya; the journey takes 20 to 25 minutes, and the whole visit takes 90 to 120 minutes.

Casa Milà

Gaudí's Casa Milà at Passeig de Gràcia 92 has an Essential ticket from €29 and a Night Experience from €39.50. Read our Casa Milà guide for the roof, the attic and the opening calendar, or the Casa Batlló or Casa Milà comparison if you can only choose one.

Casa Batlló

The house this guide is built around, at Passeig de Gràcia 43. Variants from Blue to Platinum differ in what they include, and the roof is not part of every ticket. Start with Casa Batlló tickets for the current options.

Sagrada Família and Park Güell

Gaudí's best-known projects have their own guide. The Sagrada Família guide covers tickets, towers and opening hours. For the garden, see Park Güell. In 2026 the outer tower of the basilica was completed with the upper arm of the cross at 172.5 m. The interior work is expected to continue in 2027 and 2028, so the basilica is not finished as a whole.

Our Passeig de Gràcia page covers the other houses of the Block of Discord, which are not all by Gaudí.

Build your own Gaudí route

A simple order for a short stay.

Day one: the Passeig de Gràcia

Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, at numbers 43 and 92 of the same boulevard. Book each with its own time slot, and leave room between them.

Day two: Gràcia and the old town

Casa Vicens in the morning and Palau Güell after lunch. Both are separate tickets, and they are in different parts of the city. This is a route of your own, not a packaged tour, so plan the travel time yourself.

Day three: further out

Bellesguard or the crypt at Colònia Güell, each a half-day trip with its own transport. Add Sagrada Família and Park Güell if you have not seen them.
